Effective Date: 18 June 2026
The following medical disclaimer applies to all diagnostic services, ultrasound scans, Doppler studies, and ultrasound-guided procedures provided by Neeraj Diagnostic Centre under the supervision of Dr. Neeraj Sharma.
1. For Diagnostic Purposes Only All ultrasound scans, Color Doppler reports, and radiological assessments provided by Neeraj Diagnostic Centre are strictly for diagnostic and investigational purposes. A radiological report is an interpretation of imaging findings by our expert radiologist, Dr. Neeraj Sharma. It does not constitute a final medical diagnosis, nor is it a prescription for medical treatment. All reports must be clinically correlated with your symptoms and further evaluated by your referring physician or treating doctor. We do not prescribe medications or offer therapeutic medical treatments.
2. Inherent Limitations of Medical Imaging While we utilize state-of-the-art high-frequency ultrasound equipment for services like Level 1 (NT/NB), Level 2 (TIFFA) anomaly scans, TRUS, and Vascular Dopplers, patients must acknowledge the inherent limitations of medical imaging.
- No 100% Guarantee: Ultrasound is a highly reliable modality, but it cannot detect 100% of fetal anomalies, soft tissue lesions, or structural abnormalities. Certain conditions may remain undetected due to factors like patient anatomy, gestational age, fetal position, or maternal body habitus.
- Normal Scans: A “normal” scan report significantly reduces the risk of underlying conditions but does not absolutely guarantee the absence of disease or fetal defects.
3. Ultrasound-Guided Procedures (FNAC & Fluid Drainage) Procedures such as ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) of lymph nodes, thyroid, breast, or liver, and fluid drainage from the chest or abdomen are minimally invasive.
- While these are performed with the utmost care and hygiene, all invasive medical procedures carry standard, albeit rare, risks (such as mild pain, minor bleeding, or infection).
- Written patient consent is mandatory prior to the commencement of any such guided procedures.
4. Strict Adherence to PC-PNDT Act, 1994 Neeraj Diagnostic Centre is a legally registered clinic operating under the stringent guidelines of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PC-PNDT) Act, 1994.
- SEX DETERMINATION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE IN INDIA.
- We do not conduct any ultrasounds to determine the sex of the fetus under any circumstances. Any request for the same will result in immediate cancellation of the scan and will be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.
5. Emergency Medical Conditions If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency (such as severe abdominal pain, excessive bleeding, or acute chest trauma), please do not rely solely on diagnostic imaging appointments. Seek immediate assistance from the nearest hospital emergency room.
6. Acceptance of Risk By proceeding with any scan or diagnostic procedure at Neeraj Diagnostic Centre, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the limitations and terms stated in this medical disclaimer.
